Submit Art

We prefer to use Photoshop or Illustrator for artwork. If you're using another program, just let us know which one it is. If the files you want to send are too big to e-mail, send your CD or DVD to...

A few words on art...

ILLUSTRATOR
1. If you are sending illustrator art, make sure all fonts are converted to outlines. If you've never done this, the command is under the "TYPE" category under "create outlines". Select all, go under "TYPE" and hit "create outlnes", this will convert all your fonts to outlines and eliminate any compatibility problems with our system in case we don't have the fonts you used.

2. If you have included "placed" files in your image, we will need a copy of the placed file.

PHOTOSHOP
1. Make sure to send files in a high enough resolution as to avoid image degredation. A good rule of thumb is any thing over 200dpi, preferably 300dpi. Any format of Photoshop is usable, but we prefer .psd, .tiff, or .jpeg.

2. If your file is layered, you should flatten it before sending. To accomplish this under the "layer options", hit "combine visible layers", and then flatten the image. Re-save it and send it to us. Combining the visible layers before flattening it will allow you to maintain the integrity of the art better than just flattening it outright. This is especially important if you have very faded or lots of blended colors in the art. If you work is extremely complex, we may request the layered file to help us in seperating the colors.
